Nathan Pollister claimed the first ever iNBA World Championship as the Utah Jazz defeated the Indiana Pacers 174-139. It was a team effort that won it for the Jazz. Utah shot 60% from the field and all five starters scored more than 20 points. Michael Jordan lead the way with 36 points, Nick Van Exel scored 31 points and dished 12 assists. The Pacers were lead by former Jazzman Brent Barry and his heroic 8 point effort. Brent nailed two critical 3 pointers in the fourth quarter to narrow the Jazz' margin of victory to just 35 points. With Jordan unavailable to bail him out, Scottie Pippen missed all 8 three-pointers he attempted and single-handedly lost the iNBA championship for his team. |
